- Application Name: Hjdrivesync
- Requested Scopes:
https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive(Google Drive API) - Core Utility: Hjdrivesync acts as a server-to-server transfer client. It connects your Google account via OAuth to copy, duplicate, and transfer folders and files directly from a source Drive link into your own Google Drive.
- Need for Scopes: The
drivescope is required to (1) read the file/folder hierarchy of the source item you wish to clone, (2) create matching directories in your personal Drive, and (3) copy the files into your Drive server-to-server. - Data Protection: Hjdrivesync does not store, modify, or download your file content. All operations are completed directly within the Google Drive API ecosystem. OAuth tokens are encrypted and stored solely for performing transfers initiated by you.
About Hjdrivesync
Hjdrivesync is a productivity utility designed to help users duplicate and backup their Google Drive files and folders from one account to another, or from a public view link directly to their own Drive. Transfers are executed server-to-server internally on Google's network, requiring no local download or upload bandwidth from the user.
Why do we request permissions?
To perform the file duplication, Hjdrivesync requests the https://www.googleapis.com/auth/drive permission. This access is used solely to:
- Read the metadata (such as names and file sizes) of the source file or folder you specify.
- Create a target folder hierarchy in the root of your own linked Drive.
- Copy the selected files directly into the destination folders.
Data Privacy & Security
We care deeply about your privacy. All file transfers occur directly on Google's servers. Our application never downloads, reads, stores, or shares your personal files. Your OAuth credentials (tokens) are stored securely in an encrypted Cloudflare D1 database and are used exclusively to process your requested transfers. You can revoke access at any time through your Google Account security settings.
